About the Project

This is an unfunded project, started at the Institute of Computational Linguistics at the University of Zurich and currently moved to the IMS at the University of Stuttgart.

The research in this project is conducted by

We cooperate with Prof. Dr. Daniel Perrin, head of the Institute of Applied Media Studies at the Zurich University of Applied Science and Prof. Dr. Dietmar Rösner, head of the Knowledge-Based Systems and Document Processing Research Group at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg.

Part of LingURed was the PhD project for Cerstin Mahlow at the University of Zurich (defended in March 2011).  The supervisor for the PhD thesis was Prof. Dr. Michael Hess, head of the Institute of Computational Linguistics. Dr. Michael Zock from  Laboratoire d'Informatique Fondamentale de Marseille was the second reader.  The thesis is written in German, you can download it as PDF (6 MB) or read the abstract in German or English.
